Tasked with a special mission, the Emissary bridges defensive and custom pistols delivering a bold and capable addition to the Springfield Armory family of 1911’s.

Built on a durable foundation of forged steel in its barrel, slide and frame, the Emissary offers a defensive pistol with an air of custom refinement. The pistol has a beautiful two-tone or all-black finish, with squared trigger guard. A “Tri-Top” cut to the slide gives the pistol custom-grade styling, while a heavy-profile bull barrel delivers maximum accuracy and reduces felt recoil.

The Emissary blends form and function seamlessly in a defensive-minded firearm loaded with custom-grade features.

AGENCY OPTIC SYSTEM

The Emissary is available in an optics-ready configuration using the Agency Optic System (AOS). Developed in collaboration with Agency Arms, AOS employs a series of plates with an integrated rear sight, compatible with a wide range of today’s most popular optics, including RMR, Shield, Delta Point Pro, and Docter footprints.

TRI-TOP SLIDE

The Emissary features a Tri-Top cut slide with forward lightening grooves and a flattened and serrated top strap for light diffusion and glare reduction in bright light. Springfield Armory’s U-Dot™ sights are ideal for defensive situations offering fast and intuitive acquisition while providing a tritium/luminescent front sight for low light conditions.

Ensuring a lifetime of service, the Emissary features a rugged forged frame and slide, the heart and soul of all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols.

  • FLAT TOP SLIDE SERRATIONS

    40 LPI flat top slide serrations diffuse light and reduce glare.

  • ACCESSORY RAIL

    The 5-inch Emissary has an integrated Picatinny accessory rail, ready to accept the light, laser or combo unit of your choice.

  • (2) MAGAZINES INCLUDED

    The Emissary comes with two high quality magazines with base pads.

  • U-DOT™ SIGHT PICTURE

    The tritium & luminescent front sight of the Emissary pairs with a Tactical Rack U-Dot™ rear sight for easy target acquisition in all lighting conditions.

BULL BARREL

The Emissary’s heavy-profile bull barrel is designed for maximum accuracy and reduced muzzle flip.

GET A GRIP

The Emissary is fully wrapped in a grenade pattern texture for firm engagement in adverse conditions. The slim line VZ Grips® are machined from G10 while the mainspring housing and front strap are machined to match.
