The Armory Life™ Announces Fall 2024 Print Issue Featuring Springfield Armory® CEO Dennis Reese
GENESEO, ILL. (09/04/24) – The Armory Life™ is pleased to announce the release of the Fall 2024 issue of The Armory Life print magazine featuring a cover story interview with Springfield Armory® CEO and owner, Dennis Reese. This quarterly print magazine complements the daily digital content available on TheArmoryLife.com.
Since its launch five years ago, The Armory Life website has proven to be an outstanding resource for firearms-oriented content. It delivers exciting and in-depth daily posts created by some of today’s most respected experts in the firearms community. With the launch of the full-color, 96-page quarterly print magazine in early 2021, fans of The Armory Life were given an entirely new medium for consuming this content.
The Fall 2024 issue’s cover story is an exclusive interview with Dennis Reese, discussing the 50th anniversary of the revered M1A™ rifle. As owner and CEO of Springfield Armory, Mr. Reese brings a depth of knowledge about the history of this foundational rifle as well as the company itself.
On a similar subject, the issue has a detailed review of the M1A 50th Anniversary Rifle featured on the cover with Mr. Reese. This collector-grade rifle — limited to a run of just 1,974 samples, signifying the year of the rifle’s release — comes with a special eastern white pine display case, signed certificate of authenticity and more.
The issue also keeps you up to date on some of today’s top firearms and gear, such as in-depth reviews of the long-action Model 2020 Waypoint, SA-16A2, Hellcat Pro Comp, 4.25” Garrison 1911 and more. Rounding out the issue are also pieces on the Silencer Central Banish Speed K, Springfield Armory’s incredible “Lock & Load” giveaway, and a deep dive into the history of the Battle of Peleliu to mark its 80th anniversary.
The print magazine is designed to integrate closely with its digital sibling website, featuring easy-to-use QR codes throughout. Simply open your camera app on your smartphone and scan the code, and you’ll be taken online to expanded content and video segments.
Recipients of The Armory Life print magazine are selected from Springfield Armory warranty registrants. Currently, subscribers receive two years’ worth (eight issues) of the magazine.
“Having the opportunity to sit down with Mr. Reese and gain unprecedented access and insight into not only the development of the renowned M1A rifle but also how it has been modernized with 21st-century manufacturing technology today was an incredible opportunity,” said Mike Humphries, editor-in-chief of the magazine. “This, along with a review of the commemorative 50th anniversary rifle he is holding on the cover makes this another must-read issue of The Armory Life magazine.”
