Springfield Armory® Hosts GUNFEST at the 2022 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
GENESEO, ILL. (08/03/22) – Springfield Armory® is proud to announce it will host the inaugural GUNFEST at the renowned Sturgis, South Dakota, 2022 Motorcycle Rally August 5th through the 7th.
GUNFEST is a three-day shooting event held August 5th, 6th and 7th at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Shooting Complex. Featuring free general admission, attendees will have the opportunity to try out and purchase some of the latest and greatest Springfield Armory firearms. Hours of the event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees will be able to try out a wide range of Springfield Armory rifles and pistols. Long guns featured will be 5.56mm rifles such as the Hellion bullpup and SAINT Victor carbine, and the 7.62mm M1A SOCOM. The revered 1911 will also be represented, with the Operator in .45, the 4.25” Emissary in 9mm, and 9mm and .45 versions of the Garrison on the line. Complementing the proven 1911 pistols will also be the new SA-35. Looking to try out some cutting-edge striker-fired pistols? The Hellcat OSP, Hellcat Pro and the XD-M Elite 4.5” 10mm will be there as well.
